TAWAS CITY – The Friends of Tawas City Library (TCLF) invites the public to visit their bookstore at the Tawas City Library, 208 North Street, each Saturday from 9 a.m. to noon.
In addition to regular Saturday hours, the Friends group will hold monthly ‘Summer Book Sales’ in Clute Park, next to the library. Summer book sales will take place on the second Saturday of the month starting June 11.
TCLF has received donations of lightly used books over the winter and has several popular author collections that will be available at summer book sales. For the adventure reader, those attending the sales can find something in the collections of WEB Griffin and Clive Cussler. Mysterious authors are also available with a wide selection from Patricia Cornwell, Jeffery Deaver, John Grisham, Jack Higgins, James Patterson and JD Robb. Or relax this summer with a good love story from the collections of Diana Palmer, Fern Michaels, Debbie MacComber and Nora Roberts. And for western fans, there’s Louis L’Amour.
These collections, along with many different genres to suit every individual reading preference, will be available during summer book sales and remember, “You choose the book, you choose the price.” All proceeds go to supporting the Tawas Municipal Library and promoting reading and literacy.
TCLF no longer has sales in the agricultural market.
