Ramadan market
Starting tonight, Yas Bay Abu Dhabi’s first-ever pop-up event to mark Ramadan will be active. Yas Bay Waterfront Nights is free, and visitors can enjoy live entertainment at the open-air market daily from 8 p.m. until late. A traditional Oud player will perform for one hour every evening starting at 10:30 p.m. Visitors can also enjoy savory bites and treats available on site.
Unlimited Iftar menu
The quirky Bollywood-themed restaurant, Bol Gappa, invites visitors to sample authentic Indian flavors with its unlimited Iftar menu featuring salad, dates, choice of drinks, main course and classic Indian desserts. Priced at Dh59, it is available from sunset until 8:30 p.m. throughout Ramadan.
Art workshop
Head to the Mall of the Emirates this weekend to find your creative expression through unique artistic exercises. You can also create your own abstract artwork in this workshop. Teenagers are allowed in this two-hour workshop for adults at the price of 300 Dh. Friday, April 15 at 6 p.m. Saturday April 16 at 11 a.m.
Jason Manford Show
Popular comedian Jason Manford is heading to Dubai for a special concert. The British stand-up sensation will perform his popular Like me show on Friday, April 15 at the Mövenpick Hotel Jumeirah Beach on JBR. A popular comedian in Britain, Jason is famous for several TV shows including 8 out of 10 cats, the unique show and A matter of sports.
Easter
Children of all ages can participate in Louna’s fun Easter party with various activities like the egg hunt, arts and crafts workshop, meeting colorful Easter characters and a musical party. Abu Dhabi’s Peruvian restaurant COYA has released a set menu for the month of Ramadan. Priced at 219 Dh, the special menu offers Peruvian dishes that combine influences from Japanese, Chinese and Spanish cultures. Customers can break their fast with these unique offers, available every day until 7:30 p.m.
Ramadan Photo Walk
This Ramadan, take a walk through Karama, one of Dubai’s oldest neighborhoods, with your cameras. During the photo walk, participants will be led by an expert guide who will help budding photographers hone their street photography skills while capturing the authentic experience of Ramadan in Old Dubai. Easter Brunch
Treat yourself to Portuguese flavors this Easter at Tasca’s Pascoa Na Brunch. At the top of the Mandarin Oriental Jumeira, Dubai, the family brunch will take place on Saturday 16 and Sunday 17 April.
