Friends of the San Bernardino Public Library Hold Book Sales at Feldheym Library – San Bernardino Sun

The Friends of the San Bernardino Public Library is hosting an ongoing book sale at the Feldheym Central Library, 555 W. Sixth St.

Books are added weekly and proceeds from the sale benefit San Bernardino Public Library programs, according to a news release.

Prices are $1 for hardbacks and DVDs, 50 cents for trade paperbacks, and 25 cents for magazines and children’s books. Small paperbacks are 25 cents each or five for $1.

Friends of the San Bernardino Public Library accepts book donations before 5 p.m. on service days at all four city libraries. Books in good condition, hardcover and paperback, are welcome, as well as DVDs and magazines. Donations should not be placed in library book deposits, and the library does not have enough staff to pick up donations, according to the press release.

Branches of the library, in addition to Feldheym Central Library, are the Paul Villaseñor Library, 525 N. Mountain View Ave.; the Dorothy Inghram Library, 1505 W. Highland Ave.; and the Howard Rowe Library, 108 E. Marshall Blvd.

The opening hours of the four libraries are from noon to 8 p.m. on Mondays and Tuesdays and from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.

The Friends of the San Bernardino Public Library is a support group that helps the library service through fundraising activities such as book sales. It is a non-profit, tax-exempt corporation and an independent fundraising entity.
