Chola Inv Finance share price: Chola Inv Finance shares fall 1.72% as Sensex tumbles

The certificate had closed at Rs 763.75 in the previous session. The stock quoted a 52-week high of Rs 770.05 and a 52-week low of Rs 469.75, respectively. According to BSE data, the total trading volume on the counter till 12:43 p.m. (IST) stood at 27,092 shares with a turnover of Rs 2.04 crore.

At the current price, the company’s shares traded at 36.03 times its 12-month earnings per share of Rs 20.85 per share and 4.78 times its price-to-book ratio, according to exchange data. .

A higher P/E ratio shows that investors are willing to pay a higher price today due to growth expectations in the future.

The price-to-book ratio indicates the inherent value of a company and reflects the price investors are willing to pay even if the company does not grow. The stock’s beta, which measures its volatility relative to the broader market, was 1.8.

The promoters held 51.4% of the company’s capital as of March 31, 2022, while the FIIs held 17.61% and the DIIs 19.54%.
